The Muddy Charles Pub is happy to staff bartenders and provide beverage catering for events on the MIT campus organized by MIT students, faculty, staff, or affiliates. The Pub itself is available for rental on weekends, subject to availability. The Muddy can also provide both beverages and bartender staff for events held within Building 50 (incl. Morss Hall) and the immediately surrounding campus vicinity.
For events held elsewhere on campus, the Muddy can only provide bartender staff — beverages must be purchased and transported by the event organizers. In addition, organizers must provide the Muddy with a brief plan clearly identifying who will be in charge of leftover alcoholic beverages on the day of the event and how they will be transported from the event site (if applicable).
The Muddy can only service events for MIT affiliates. This includes friends, family, etc. of students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
All event requests must be received by the Muddy no later than two weeks before the scheduled date of the event.
